Our Quality Policy is to meet or exceed our customers' needs and expectations by setting and measuring organizational and quality objectives in an environment of continual improvement.

Background
Morgan Advanced Ceramics provides many thousands of products to Industrial, Scientific, Aerospace, Semiconductor, Automotive and Medical customers. Our ISO 9001:2000 certified facility in Allentown Pennsylvania, manufactures, designs and provides service coatings for both the domestic and global marketplace and utilizes its position within the Morgan Group worldwide to meet the needs of our customers. Because of our complex business, we have developed this Quality Statement that we believe will satisfy customer inquiries regarding our quality system and test certification. Diamonex understands the need for continuous improvement. We are pleased to provide this information about how our Quality Systems operate, and how we insure our products meet our customers' needs.

Product
Diamonex is committed to providing our customers with superior quality and has implemented rigorous quality systems to assure this. We place a strong emphasis on quality and design, utilizing problem and waste prevention to build quality into our products and processes. Quality plays a functional role in its systematic approach to product design and development, a key tool used at Diamonex to help us determine customer needs and the internal testing protocols needed to assure product quality. By including customers in this process, we are able to prioritize their requirements and prevent deviations in our performance. Additional test verifications are included to assure compliance with unique industry and customer specifications when requested.

Environmental
We recognize the necessity for responsible environmental management and conservation of resources. Pollution prevention, recycling, and reduction of all types of waste and emissions are integral parts of Diamonex's environmental program. Diamonex's manufacturing facility is registered to the internationally recognized ISO 14001 environmental standard and can provide RoHS compliance statements upon request.

Continuous Improvement and Customer Satisfaction
Continuous improvement at Diamonex has become a way of life. One of the key strategies of all our manufacturing areas are to constantly improve our processes. We use a quality tool kit that includes Statistical Process Control, Design of Experiments, and Process Capability (Cp,Cpk) to help us meet our objective. We are also fortunate to utilize many customer Best Practices to ensure satisfaction. We continuously measure our ability to provide excellence and to determine the level of our performance in the marketplace with distributors, major customers, and the ultimate end users of our products. The main driver of our continual improvement efforts for our business and manufacturing processes is Six Sigma.
