DLC Coatings
Diamonex Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coatings are a high performance coating solution that offers extreme hardness and can be applied to a range of materials including ceramic, plastic and glass. Our DLC coatings are currently used in varied industries from infrared optics to auto racing and are also used in the manufacture of medical and dental instruments.
DiamondShield ® Coatings
Offering a premium option in our range of DLC coatings, DiamondShield® provides exceptional diamond-like properties and as such is extremely durable and robust, providing high chemical and electrical resistance. Typically applied to soft surfaces such as plastics, DiamondShield® coatings can be used in myriad applications.
Scratch Resistant Glass
With our unique understanding of wear resistant glass products MTC Diamonex offer innovative scanner glass solutions. Predominantly our wear resistant glass products are used in barcode scanners as a more durable, longer lasting solution. Currently we offer 3 wear resistance glass products for barcode scanning; these are EVERSCAN® Scanshield-C® and Scanshield-UV®.
Deposition Systems
Through technical knowledge MTC Diamonex have pioneered ion beam processes that deposit diamond-like carbon films on a range of materials. Specifically the ion beam deposition systems utilised by MTC Diamonex, such as CD Source, are frequently used within optical coating applications (for instance in the manufacture of sunwear) and also within the creation of barcode scanner windows.
